"Primum Alveus" is a new line of collectible sparkling wines from Fanagoria, created from the best harvests. Translated from Latin, "Primum Alveus" means "Former Channel." Exquisite, multifaceted, refined, these wines will become a true gem in your collection. "Primum Alveus" Brut is a white sparkling wine made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes. The berries grow on the company's vineyards in the geographical area of "Sennoy" on the Taman Peninsula. The harvest is conducted only when the berries reach optimal ripeness. Secondary fermentation is carried out using the classic Champagne method. The sparkling wine is aged for three years (the Roman numeral 3 on the label corresponds to the years of aging).
About the Manufacturer
The "Fanagoria" company is one of the largest producers of alcoholic beverages in Russia, with a rich history. The Fanagoria state farm was founded in 1959. It was then merged with the Sennovsk wine factory (1978). The products of the merged enterprise became the official drink of the Olympic Games held in Moscow in 1980. After the restructuring in 1996, the company focused on modernization and development of wine production, and the joint-stock company "Agricultural Industrial Firm "Fanagoria" was established. The range of produced wines was significantly expanded. The company's products have received recognition at international exhibitions and competitions. Modern "Fanagoria" owns vineyards covering about 3000 hectares and produces more than 2 million units of alcoholic beverages annually.
