About the Manufacturer
Château Troupian is part of the Lestage Simon Cru Bourgeois estate and covers an area of 33 hectares. The Haut-Médoc has a long-standing reputation and is one of the most famous names in the region. This reputation is due to the fact that, being quite close to the city of Bordeaux, its vineyard was distinguished as early as the 18th century. The estate owners took advantage of this to develop the image and reputation of their wines. This region extends over more than sixty kilometers along the left bank of the Garonne and Gironde rivers and is 10 km wide north of Bordeaux. The vineyard consists of a very beautiful limestone-schist plot, ideally oriented and perfectly suited for the development of the main grape variety planted here, Merlot. The Château Troupian wine is very feminine, slightly woody, with a pleasant, clean fruit aroma.
