David Duband Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru AOC 2021
418000 ₸
/ pcs.Dark ruby.
Rich and complex, with notes of red and black berries — strawberry, raspberry, and black cherry, with hints of violets, earth, and subtle spices. Later, notes of gravel, forest floor, and light pepper emerge.
Bright and harmonious, with a silky yet structured texture. Fresh and lively acidity intertwines with aromas of red currant, ripe cherry, and fine minerality. Hints of sandalwood, earth, and light smokiness complement the aroma. The tannins are fine-grained, leading to a long finish that is both elegant and energetic.
The wine will pair beautifully with duck breast with cherry stuffing, beef tenderloin with a wild mushroom sauce, game, and aged cheeses, especially Comté or Époisses.

Interesting facts
Latricières-Chambertin is a prestigious Grand Cru vineyard in the Burgundy commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, known for its cool microclimate and limestone-rich soils that impart elegance and minerality to the wines. The 2021 vintage demonstrates balance, purity, and precision, embodying Duband's signature approach - a combination of tradition and modern methods. The grapes are hand-harvested, sorted, and undergo gentle whole-cluster fermentation. Aging takes place in French oak barrels, 20-30% of which are new, for approximately 14 months, ensuring tannin integration without disrupting the terroir.
About the Manufacturer
Young oenologist David Duband is considered one of the fastest-growing stars of Burgundy. From his very first wines, he established himself as an innovator in Burgundy with his strong and distinctive style, always seeking purity without diminishing the intensity and concentration of the wine. David has been categorized among modernists, but over the years his "hand" has evolved more and more, and the wines have become incredibly elegant. David Duband has been making wine since 1991. Starting with very small holdings in Côte-de-Nuits, he expanded his land by acquiring exceptional old vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey-Saint-Denis. Currently, Duband cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards exclusively using organic and biodynamic methods, harvesting only by hand and using a minimal amount of sulfur. At the winery, a high percentage of grapes are not separated from the stems, and mainly old barrels are selected for aging the wines. David Duband's modern winemaking style allows for wines with thrilling intensity and freshness, as well as pure fruitiness, without sacrificing the interpretation of the origin of each batch of grapes. Currently, Duband's wines are distributed under the labels "Domaine David Duband" and "Domaine Francois Feuillet."
