Tua Rita Giusto di Notri Toscana IGT 2020

The diligent work of Tua Rita's winemakers in the vineyards and cellars ensures the best combination of quality and value of the produced wine. The winery was founded by Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti, who bought the estate and vineyards in 1984. Located in Notri in Suvereto, it is situated at an altitude of 100 meters above sea level. The soils here are of medium texture, clayey, rich in microelements such as iron and zinc, which saturate the wines with minerality. The climate in Suvereto is favorable and warm. The first varieties planted in the vineyards were Merlot and Cabernet, from which in 1992 the estate's "firstborn" — "Giusto di Notri" — was born. This wine was instantly talked about in both Italian and international press, praised for its depth and structure. The next wine — "Redigaffi" — was created without blending and became the first Italian wine to receive a score of 100/100 from Robert Parker for the 2000 vintage. Today, Tua Rita spans 50 hectares, of which 30 hectares are vineyards. The main work in the vineyards (including tilling) is done manually, while tractors are used for irrigation and pest control. The entire production cycle is under the watchful eye of owner Virgilio, who prefers to view the estate as a garden full of natural harmony. For the most important wines of the estate, each grape berry is carefully selected. The production amounts to 110,000 bottles per year, with a lineup consisting of five red and two white wines. They are exported to 55 countries worldwide.
