Interesting facts
To create the delightful white wine Elvio Cogno, Moscato d`Asti DOCG, the producer uses Muscat grapes grown in vineyards in the Asti region at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level. The soils of the vineyards are clay-sandy, and the average age of the vines is 30 years. After harvesting, the berries are transported to the winery, where they undergo gentle pressing. The juice is clarified using pectolytic enzymes. The fermentation process takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 15 °C. Before bottling, the wine is filtered.
